Crafts at Destination Dig - Day 1

PRAISES AND THANKSGIVING:

1. Day 4 Registration rose to 103 
2. Many food and waters donation  
3. Donation for equipment and materials
4. For pastors who showed up and lent their support
5. WCCC opened up their parsonage and be used for VBS.  It has four classes in there now.  

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Numbers of students absent in Day 4.  Pray that they will come back in Day 5.  
2. Pray for the three major emphasis of this year's VBS: 
1. That each student be connected to a local church
2. That each student follow Jesus as Savior and Lord
3. That our VBS have great connected with partner agencies and churches
3. Pray that COVID will not hinder the church to come and serve and participate
4. Pray for the "Unchurched" Community to participate
5. Pray for the teachers to be ready to teach and engage.  Many come from different backgrounds and pray for their families, work commitments and other priorities volunteers have outside VBS.  
6. Pray that students and staff will be on time
7. Pray for strategic engagement starting today (day 2) with the many unchurched families being connected to their local church.  
8. Pray for cooperation and unity among staff - for the spiritual welfare of the students
9. Pray for Pastors:  Glen - military training; Daniel - cancer;  Ancho - transition; Rudy - physical health;  Bong - wisdom for doctorate school

From Lifeway's VBS Prayer Request:

1. Ask for God’s blessing over your church’s VBS and all who will be involved.
2. Pray for the teachers, volunteers, and workers who will serve during VBS. Ask God to receive their hours of preparation as a pleasing offering and for the Holy Spirit to be at work in and through them.
3. Pray for the children who will attend VBS and the families they represent. Ask God to begin preparing their hearts to respond to the Good News they will hear at VBS. Pray for their physical safety and emotional well-being during the week.
4. Pray for those who are unchurched in your community who will join your church for VBS. Ask God to soften your own heart and the hearts of your congregation to welcome, serve, and build relationships with everyone who enters your doors.
5. Pray for those who will share the gospel during VBS and those who will follow-up with children, students, adults, and families. Ask the Holy Spirit to give them clarity, guidance, and discernment.
6. Pray for churches around the world who will conduct a VBS, Backyard Kids Club, or other evangelistic outreach this summer. Pray for God’s Kingdom to be expanded. Thank God in advance for the blessings and opportunities He will provide through VBS.
